Required documents
- Scanned copy of a passport valid for at least 6 months after leaving Moldova
- Electronic photo of the applicant (standard size)
Accommodation booking or proof of stay in Moldova - Tickets or travel itinerary (transport)
- Valid permit (visa) to the destination country, if transiting
Application procedure
- Register on the official portal
- Fill out the form: personal info, travel purpose and dates, contacts
- Upload documents
- Pay the consular fee online
- Receive the e-Visa via email after approval
Things to note
The e-Visa is only valid at designated border points (airports or land crossings)
It is recommended to apply 15 days before the trip to avoid stress or denial
Proof of financial means is required: bank statement, income certificate, or sponsorship letter
Relevance for Ukrainians
Ukrainians do not need a visa to stay in Moldova for up to 90 days within 180 days with a biometric or regular passport
If your country is visa-exempt, the e‑Visa is not required, but can still be obtained if desired
