Over time, various state entities existed on Polish lands, and modern Poland emerged at the beginning of the last century. Its borders have changed multiple times throughout the 20th century, but since the end of World War II, the situation has finally stabilized.

The number of Ukrainians in leadership positions in Poland is increasing.

Ukrainians in Poland mostly hold lower-level positions in industry, agriculture, and the service sector, but at the same time, the number of Ukrainians in managerial roles is growing.

The largest increase in the number of work permits issued to Ukrainians in Poland has been recorded in industry, agriculture, and services. Meanwhile, in the first half of this year, 404 Ukrainians were employed as representatives of government bodies, senior officials, and managers. According to Krzysztof Inglot, head of the employment agency Personnel Service, this is 53% more than a year ago.
