    Visa to South Korea

    The Consulate of South Korea in Kyiv is operational, and as of 2025, almost all types of visas are available. The visa to Korea is popular among tourists, businesspeople, and those planning to visit the country for other purposes.

    Main visa types and conditions:
    Tourist visa: issued for up to 30 days.

    Business visa and visitor visa: can be obtained for 90 days, but certain conditions must be met.

    For stays longer than 90 days: a tuberculosis test must be taken at an accredited clinic.

    The visa is issued electronically, but documents (including the passport) must be submitted to the Consulate in paper form. Processing time – from 2 working days.

    New requirements from February 1, 2025:
    Bank certificate:

    Minimum amount in the account – $2,000.

    This amount must be on the account for at least 3 months.

    Certificate of funds movement for the last 3 months (separate document).

    Documents for the visa:
    International passport (original).

    Questionnaire data.

    Photo 3.5×4.5 cm on a white background (not older than 6 months).

    Certificate from workplace or registration of private entrepreneur + latest submitted declaration.

    Bank certificate (2 separate certificates: account status and funds movement).

    Booking of airline tickets and hotel.

    Detailed trip plan and budget.

    Documents confirming the purpose of the trip (if not tourism).

    For men of conscription age: certificate allowing border crossing.

    How to submit documents:
    If you are in Ukraine:

    I can submit documents for you, but you must be in Ukraine.

    Submission is possible by notarized power of attorney (for tourist visa).

    If you are abroad:

    Enter Ukraine (for example, Uzhhorod or Mukachevo) and send passport and documents via Nova Poshta.

    Bring documents to Kyiv yourself.
