Here is a short summary of the main points regarding the legalization of foreigners’ stay:
❗️As of March 14, 2020, the following are extended by 30 days from the day after the epidemic is declared over:❗️
National visas that expired during the epidemic;
Residence permits (karta pobytu) that expired during the epidemic;
Deadlines for submitting applications for temporary, permanent, or EU resident cards;
Valid work permits (zezwolenie), seasonal work permits, and declarations (oświadczenie) that expired during the epidemic.
Legal stay is only valid within Poland; leaving for Schengen countries is not allowed.
❗️Additionally, the following deadlines are extended:❗️
Leaving Poland due to a negative decision, notification of case closure, or annulment of residence permit.
Voluntary return home (soft deportation).
💥💥💥And most importantly! Visa-free stays are NOT automatically extended!
But you can remain in Poland under visa-free rules if you submit an application for a residence card within 30 days after the end of the epidemic.💥💥💥

⚠️ You can stay in Poland. Legal stay will be extended for 30 days after the epidemic ends.⚠️
✅ Visa-free stay expiring⁉️
⚠️ You can stay in Poland if you submit an application for a residence card within 30 days after the epidemic ends. If you do not apply, your stay is not extended and you must leave, or it will be considered illegal.⚠️
✅ Residence permit expired⁉️
⚠️ You can stay and reapply within 30 days after the end of the epidemic.⚠️
✅ Lost your job while holding a residence card⁉️
⚠️ You must notify the voivode of job loss in time, but you can apply for a new card within the 30-day period after the epidemic ends.⚠️
✅ Work declaration or permit expiring⁉️
⚠️ You may continue working legally until the end of the 30-day period after the epidemic.⚠️
