The Polish government has announced the extension of coronavirus restrictions across the country.

This was reported by “European Pravda” with reference to Onet.pl.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated that restrictions on churches, shopping malls, cinemas, theaters, and service establishments will remain in place until April 19.

The closure of schools and suspension of international air and rail traffic will continue until April 26.

Border closures, sanitary border control, and mandatory quarantine for arrivals will remain in effect until May 3.

Restrictions on mass events will remain in place until further notice.

Additionally, starting next Thursday, wearing masks in public places will become mandatory.

Poland has registered 5,411 coronavirus cases and 164 deaths.

As previously reported, the Polish government will allocate an additional 100 billion zloty (22 billion euros) to support businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
